- SIX TO EIGHT YEARS for the study of Nighaṇṭu and Nirukta.
- FOUR MONTHS for the study of Chandas Śāstra (Prosody).
- ONE YEAR for the study of Manusmṛti, Vālmīki Rāmāyaṇa, and Vidura Nīti contained in the Mahābhārata.
- TWO YEARS for the study of the complete Darśana Śāstra (Systems of Indian Philosophy). Before studying Vedānta Darśana, the Ten Principal Upaniṣads will be studied in depth.
- SIX YEARS for the study of the four Brāhmaṇa texts, along with the study of the Vedic accents, sounds, meanings, and their relationship with Vedic rituals and actions.
- FOUR YEARS for the study of Āyurvedic texts, including works such as Charaka and Suśruta.
- TWO YEARS for the study of Dhanurveda.
- TWO YEARS for the study of Gāndharvaveda.
- TWO YEARS for the study of Arthaveda.
- TWO YEARS for the study of Jyotiṣa Śāstra, including texts such as the Sūrya Siddhānta.
- ONE YEAR for the study of Yantra-Kalā and Śilpa-Vidyā (Mechanical Arts and Traditional Arts/Crafts).
However, in the present age, when human lifespan and overall capacity are gradually declining, it may not be possible for everyone to devote such a long period to Ārsha education. Even those who are prepared to dedicate at least five full years to this system of Ārsha study can master the essential aspects of the tradition, including the Mahābhāṣya of Maharshi Patañjali.
