Pillars of Arya Samaj in Kerala

Arya Samaj had a glorious history in Kerala. Arya missionaries from Sindh, Baluchisthan and Lahore reached the Malabar province of Kerala in 1921 like a wild storm for rescue operations during the Mopola Rebellion in 1921. When the mass Hindu genocide happened here a handful of Arya Samaj missionaries headed by Mahatma Anand Swami, Pandit Rishiram, Pt. Hans Raj, Swamy Sradhanand and many unsung heroes reached Kerala and carried out rescue operations. It is only due to their dedicated works, we could reignite the vedic light again in Kerala.

The other important pillars of Arya Samaj in Kerala are Pandit Vedabandhu Sharma, Pandit Budha Simhan, Acharya Kizhanellur Parameswaran Namboothiri, Acharya Arya Bhaskar, Acharya Narendra Bhooshan and Acharya Velayudha Arya.
