Pandit Rishiram was borna Vaishya family at Raypurarani Kabse in Ambala district in AD 1893.After the initial education he joined the famous Dayanand Anglo Vedic College (DAV College established by Mahathma Hans Raj the veteran Arya Samaj leader) for higher studies. Acharya Pandit Vishwabandhu was also his classmate. Both of the came into the contact of Mahathma Hansraj and chose the ideology of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswathi. Pt. Rishiram passed BA exam in 1917 and since then he became a member of DAV Society.

Pt. Rishiram was a great Arya Missionary and he actively participated in social reform works. He was deputed by Punjab Arya Prathinidhi Sabha to Kerala during 1921 Malabar Mappila Riots for rescue works. He extensively travelled Malabar area and conducted massive relief works in violence hit areas and brought back thousands of Hindus who were forcibly converted to Islam.He was instrumental in establishment of Arya Samaj Calicut and Ponnani.

He was also took great role in social reform movements in Kerala. He had discussion with Sree Narayana Guru and participated the All religions Meeting at Aluva in the year 1923 representing the Arya Samaj.
After his mission at Kerala he went to East Africa for Veda Prachar works. From 1930 to 1934 he made his main centre a Calcutta. He carried out the Arya Samaj prachar activities at Bengal, Assam etc. He was a great scholar and used to conduct speeches on Yagya, Sandhya and Upanishads. He used to give fantastic discourses quoting on Veda Manthras.  In 1936 he again went to abroad to propagate vedic ideals among Indians residing there.

He passed away in 1970 at the age of 77.
