Born on 06 Aug 1930 (Kollavarsham 1105 Karkkadakam 22,Moolam Nakshathram). Parent’s names: Poyilil Kuttan Nair and Kizhuvalathu Ammalu Amma.
Education : Intermediate in Art subjects (1949-51) Worked as clerk in Postal Department (1953-1988) at Madras.
Arya Samaj activities : Became a member of Arya Samaj Chennai and hold various organisatinal posts such as Asst General Secretary (in 1970) and Librarian from 1971-77. Assistant editor of ‘Veda Jyothi’ a Tamil monthly of Arya Samaj. Founded ‘Dayananda Mission’ with the support of like minded friends and was its Secretary from 1973-1986. Published numerous pamphlets and small books and translated many books of Swamy Dayananda Saraswathi into Tamil. The major works are as follows :-

- Translated the Rigvedadi bhashya bhoomika into Tamil.
- Yajurveda bhashyam of Swamy Dayanand Saraswathi into Tamil.
- Vaidika Geetha.
- Pune Lectures (Upadesha manjari) in Tamil.
- Atharva veda manthra vidya of Swamy Brahma Muni.
- Atharva veda parichay of Pt Vishwanath Vidyamarthand.
- Selections from Upanishads into Tamil.
- A number of articles based on Vedas and translations from ‘Jangyan’ hindi monthly and ‘Vedavani’ hindi monthly. All these manuscripts are presently held with his disciple in Veda prachar Trust (an organisation started by Sri. PT Pavithran in 1983) and the Arya Samaj missionary Sri. Arul Mozhi, Translated few portions of ‘Koran parichay’ into Malayalam and a book on ‘Ganbdhiji, Muslims and Hindus (could not complete).
- He was the first Chief Editor of ‘Dayananda Sandesam’ Malayalam Vedic Magazine being published by Arya Samajam Vellinezhi since year 2012.
