Thiruvananthapuram: A commemorative meeting was organised by the Thiruvananthapuram Sthaneeya Samithi of the Bharatiya Vichara Kendram to mark the centenary of the martyrdom of Swami Shradhanand.
The meeting was held on November 4 at 6:00 PM at Samskruthi Bhavan, G.P.O. Lane, Thiruvananthapuram. It was presided over by Shri. M Vinod Kumar, President of the Thiruvananthapuram Sthaneya Samithi of the Bharatiya Vichara Kendram.
Shri. R. Sanjayan, Director of the Bharatiya Vichara Kendram, inaugurated the meeting. Shri. K. M. Rajan Meemamsak, Arya Samaj Pracharak and Adhishtatha of Karalmanna Veda Gurukulam, delivered the commemorative address.
Swami Shradhanand was a great personality who dedicated his life to the upliftment of society and the preservation of Bharatiya culture. The meeting recalled that his courageous deeds and life of sacrifice remain exemplary models of national consciousness and social commitment. It also emphasised that his ideals and message should continue to inspire the younger generation.
