It consists in the practice of truthfulness in speech, in the acquisition of true knowledge, in cultivating the society of the wise and the good, in the practice of Yamas and (other stages), of Yoga in leading a life of activity, in the diffusion of knowledge and in the performance of the like good works, So-called sacred places on land and water are not tirthas (pilgrimage).”
